In addition to the traditional dorm options, UVA offers residential colleges as an option for incoming students to choose from in their first year. The three UVA Residential Colleges provide undergraduate students an integrated intellectual, cultural, and social experience in a vibrant living-learning community. Open to first through fourth years, Brown, Hereford, and the IRC are fun places to live - with events and programming providing a great way for first-year students to meet new people from all across UVA.
